Ear wax is a substance that is naturally produced in the ears. It is produced by bacteria and other external agents when they act on the lubricant produced for the ear and the ear canal. Try Saline solution for ears:

Take 1 teaspoon of salt and mix it with about ½ a cup of warm water. Stir till the salt is fully dissolved in the water. Now take a cotton ball and soak it in this saline solution. Squeeze a few drops of it into your ear by tilting your head slightly upwards. Remain in this position for some time so that the salty water can get inside your ear. Now you can tilt your head in the opposite direction so that the solution in your ear drains out. This is one of the best solutions for the removal of ear wax at home.

Clean Ears With Hydrogen Peroxide:

Mix equal quantities of water hydrogen peroxide and water. The solution should not contain more than 3% of hydrogen peroxide. If it is present more, then it can be harmful for your ears. Now tilt your head sideways and pour a few drops of hydrogen peroxide solution in to your ear, let it settle down in your ears for a while and then you can tilt your head in the opposite direction for the extra solution to drain out. This is also very effective for the removal of ear wax.

Baby oil/glycerine:

You can also soften the ear wax with baby oil. All you have to do is to put a few drops of baby oil or mineral oil in your ear with the help of a dropper. Now place a cotton ball at the ear opening and let the oil settle in for some time. Putting you cotton ball on the ear opening helps in preventing the oil from oozing out before it reaches the ear wax. After some time you can take out the cotton ball and let the extra oil drain out from your ear. Oil helps in softening the wax and allows proper removal the ear wax.

Vinegar and rubbing alcohol solution:

Take a bowl or mug and add equal amounts of white vinegar and rubbing alcohol into it. Mix them well and then pour a few drops of this solution into your ear with the help of a dropper. The solution is very effective for removing the clogged ear wax

Use Olive Oil Ear Drops:

Olive oil is one of the effective ways to remove ear wax. It helps in softening the ear wax, thereby making it possible to remove it easily. All you have to do is to put three to four drops of olive oil in your ear blocked with wax, before you go to bed. Repeat this process for three to four days. This makes the ear wax soft. As a result, you will be able to remove it easily.

Warm water:

Pour some warm water in to your ear and leave it for a few seconds. Then you can drain it out.
